Location: Home driveway in San Diego with extreme light pollution
Conditions: 100% moon, seeing 6/10, transparency 6/10, temperature 59 F
Telescope: C8 Celestron 8" scope, prime focus, with diagonal.
Mount: Losmandy G11, Gemini goto, polar scope used to align
Guiding: None
Camera: The Image Source DMK 21AF04
Focusing: Manual using the Canon right angle 2.5 magnifier.
Exposures: 500 frame AVI using IC Capture, (0) darks, (0)flats
Processing: Registax 4.0.1.1, standard align and stack, converted to jpg, Photoshop CS; unsharp mask, cropped, reduced size for web.

Comments: A 2.5 or 5.0 Powermate should be used for capture. Remember to use histogram to aid in focusing.

Home in driveway, Steve Ritter LX200gps, 8", Steve's new Toucan Pro 840 web cam, Prime Focus, 2.5x Powermate, 1 AVI's of 50 frames captured using K3CCD Tools, aligned and stacked using Registax. Transparency 3/10 (foggy), Seeing 5/10.
