Mollie gave me a break on the BARGE
for a couple of hours. Meghan may have seen one of the huge
Sturgeon prehistoric fish that were up to 10' long. |
I lost my hat in the tent gear this
day. Mollie tied this patriotic handkerchief on my bald head.
I need a Harley to get out of here!!! |
It was a bit cold this morning and
that camp fire felt good. |
This camp site was bug and mosquito
infested. |
On the river again. |
Mollie usually scouted for rocks and
a good deep passage for the canoe. The canoe had the deepest
draft. My Soar could float in 4" of water. |
We stopped
at this landing for lunch I believe. |
Taking another break. I
actually held up very well on this trip for some reason getting stronger
towards the end! |
Joanne wanted to transport Meghan in
the canoe for pictures I guess. Meghan seemed to like the hard
floors better than the inflatable. |
Meghan found a head rest. |
The last night out with apples baking
on the fire. |
These baked apples with brown sugar,
cinnamon and butter were delicious in the wild. |
Linda in a good mood today, the last
day. |
The final break before take out on
the 5th day. |
This was our take out landing.
Linda is really happy that we got here before our shuttle pick up time. |
The Allen's also feeling good. |
Joanne and Mollie after their shower
at our shuttle company. It was another fun trip on the Namekagon. |
