The 2nd day we left early for Rainbow Bridge. This is the courtesy dock for the NP Monument. When we arrived we were the only boat there.
Steven couldn't resist feeding the striped bass and carp.
TThis is the 1.25 mile trail up to the Arch. The elevation rise was approximately 350'.
Our first glimpse of the worlds highest natural bridge. The weather was perfect for hiking, but quite dry.
A full view of the arch..
It was mostly carved by a stream that flows under it.
Linda celebrating the ascent.
The trek back was much easier.
This Gecko was not afraid of us and loved bathing in the morning sun.
Our 2nd night's anchorage at Dangling Rope Bay. The anchor broke loose here. while every one was napping in the afternoon. Steve and I had to do some quick scrambling to avoid running aground on the opposite shore. Frank handled the engine throttle control while Steve and I reset the anchors with huge piles of rocks on top of them.
This is our anchorage on the 3rd night. The hiking here was a bit scary as there were some very steep cliffs which made hiking with Meggie dog a bit dangerous. I tried to keep her 50 yards away from all steep drop offs.
Frank and Renee can't believe their luck at Pan..
Helen and Linda trying to figure out a way to beat us all at Pan.
This formation has the appropriate name of Hole-in-the-Rock.
The 3rd morning was a bit brisk and Stephen was prepared.
Here's the whole motley crew; Steve, Roger, Linda, Renee, Meggie dog, Frank, and Helen. I had a great time and would enjoy doing the trip again.

This was our last night's anchorage in Halls Creek Bay. Linda, Steve, and I walked along the creek with Meghan for miles. It was the best camp site we had for walking and we also had the least amount of wind here.
