Photos by Roger Zellmer and Linda - Wallace - June 2003 -

We decided to take a mine tour and this is the entrance of this interesting mine.  This area of Idaho produces more silver than anywhere else in the world right now.
They bussed us to the mine in this old Sacramento, CA trolley car.  They drove us around the historic town of Wallace on our return.  It used to be a rough and violent town.
Our actual retired miner guide telling us about the explosives detonation procedures.
It was a nice cool respite from the hot temperatures outside the mine, approximately 50 degrees.
Linda is fascinated with gold and silver mines.
