Photo's shot by Roger & Linda - Honolulu, Hawaii NABC November 2006

On our last day we did a professional tour around the island. Unfortunately my camera batteries went dead and I didn't get the first half of the east shore photographed, so we start on northeast shore at this park.
View from the top of park.
Byodo - In Buddhist Temple.
The bell had a nice ring to it.
Of course tour buses always have to stop at places like.
The large variety of coatings on the macadamia nuts was awesome and the samples did taste great. I bought two 16 oz bags of them.
Macadamia plants I guess.
Many roosters in the rural area. Apparently cock fights with betting is prevalent.
Sunset Beach. Big waves can exist here in the winter.
Surfing in water like this looks very strenuous.
Look at the size of those lily pads.
Another tropical and beautiful lush park.
Unusual flowers.
Apparently divers once performed here, but no more
About 7 hours into our tour and Linda is still looking chipper.
A gum eucalyptus tree at our last stop; the Dole Pineapple gift store. Linda thought the bark was beautiful.
