I didn't bring my water shoes on this hike so I stopped here enjoying the beauty and serenity of this beautiful spot. |

Ed was wanting me to continue without shoes as falls was just around that rock. I declined. I did bring my water shoes for future hikes. |

On day 4 we hiked up to this vantage point. That is our boat below. We have passed the Little Colorado River junction now, which introduced all this red silt into the river, changing it from a nice blue to a yukky brown color. |

We passed several private parties on the river. The same trip paddling takes 16-18 days vs our 10 days. In my uneducated opinion the Park Services issues a few too many permits. I think the canyon is slightly over populated with rafters this time of year. |
