Photo's by Roger Zellmer- Channel Islands - Anacapa Island Whale Watching trip -

Here we are leaving Oxnard Harbor on the Island Packer boat.
My friend Steve and I did this trip with out the wives
An off shore rig providing oil for our hungry vehicles
We came across a large pod of dolphins.
They were very playful. I have never seen so many dolphins in my life.
This guy could really high jump. The marine eco system is doing great in this area. The dolphin eats 22# of fish per day.
The entrance to Anacapa harbor.
A nice blow hole.
The stairs up to this island had over 100 steps. We dropped off 7 campers who where going to camp 3 days on the island.
There were lots of seals hanging around.
This Orca Whale was kicking up its tail and feeling good.
We saw 3 species of whales on the 4 hour cruise; Humpback, Gray, and the Killer Orca. That is Anacapa Island in the background.
