Our 2nd tour of the first day was called Kings Palace a very majestic portion of the cave. |

This was a fully asphalted trail and much easier to negotiate. The group was huge and we had a not so good ding bat female guide. |

This cave dwarfs all other caves I have visited. |

Tripods were allowed on this tour. If there is a next time, I will bring one. |

This is day two at the Caverns and we are in the Big Room a free self guided tour. If this was the only tour you took, it would be worth going to Carlsbad Caverns to see. All the formations in this room had names. What a beauty ahy. |

Not one formation has broken due to natural causes since this cave has opened. A good place to be during an earth quake. Not good for nuclear fallout protection however as the entire air in the cave changes in 2.5 days from the outside natural opening. |
