Photos by Roger or Marvin of my trip to
Boston MA November 2008 to play in Fall Nationals bridge tournament.

The lobby of the Marriot Copley Square Hotel. The room and playing facilities were great. The elevators at game time were a problem. |
A glitzy chandelier in the lobby. |
View of MIT from my room. |
Most of the national tournament events were held at this hotel next door. |
Another view from my room of a church. |
A view of the St. Charles River from my room. |
The Prudential Shopping Mall stretching for perhaps a mile in two or 3 directions. It was impressive and very beautiful with up scale shops, hotels, and restaurants allowing me to walk in warm comfort. |
At least half of the time I ate some where in this mall. |
The Christmas decoration in the mall was beautiful. |
Here we are trying to get acclimated to this cold windy weather. |
On a 2 mile walk to the South Meeting House museum. The structure on the left is St. Andrews Church. I was impressed with the reflection in the modern sky scrapper on the right. |

The old State building with golden dome hidden in the background. |
Finally made our destination after walking nearly 2 miles in the 25 F cold air. |
Apparently the Boston Tea Party and many other clandestine events were planned at this historic building. |

The kids loved climbing on these frog statues. |
