Roger, Linda, Mike, and Charlene's visit to Balboa Park, San Diego, California Nov 10, 2009

Balboa Park Natural History Museum.
Balboa Park Ruben H. Fleet science center.
Char and Mike going across the bridge to the rose garden.
What a tangled succulent this is!
Next was the rose garden, which was still in good shape considering how late in the season it was.
The pollinator busy.
I love these two tone roses similar to Double Delight. This one was very fragrant.
On the road with bridge across the freeway near Old Globe Theaters.
Arboretum with fishless fish pond.
A bit gritty but still pretty.

Char and Mike enjoying the cool quiet tranquility of the Arboretum.
I liked the lighting on these palms.
Looks good enough to eat.
Very unusual flower.
My mother grew these in Wisconsin.
Ferns with interesting lighting.
The Mexican population love these peppers.
Albino leaf?
Linda, Mike, and Char in front of the Mingei Museum dragon just before lunch at the Prado Restaurant.

I love daisies.
The City decided to allow the fountain to run in spite of our water shortage.
