A privately run park near Saguaro NP West, well worth visiting. Plan on spending 3 to 5 hours as there is allot to see including an aviary and wild Javalina's all over the place. Lots of educational displays about geology, mining, caves, volcanoes, etc.
The cages only include endemic animals with terrain and vegetation similar to their real habitat. The Coyote looked very healthy.
Praire Dogs keeping watch.
The baby on the left also seems to be alert.
The beautiful Saguaro Cactus blooms were just beginning.
The pear cactus was also in bloom. One does not want to fall into one of these.
An impressive Big Horn Sheep.
The mother Big Horn nursing her 2 week old baby.
The baby was very agile entertaining the crowd with her acrobatics up and down the steep terrain.
A dust devil was kicking up in the desert.
