My
second run on the NF Clearwater near Quartz Creek. |
 |
The
river flow was great the first 5 days at around 2,000 cfs. It then
started dropping to around 1,500 cfs the last 5 days. |
 |
ust
finishing the first rapids of the run. Notice the undercut on
river left to be avoided. This is probably the most beautiful
river I have ever rafted. |
 |
Flat
water for a few hundred yards.. |
 |
This
is Tim and Joe on their first run in the 14' SOAR. |
 |
Joe
in the front ejected just down stream on the next rapids. |
 |
Their
weight distribution is way off. They should be sitting on the seats or have
their knees under the seats. This weight distribution caused
extreme porpoising and Joe's ejection on the next rapids. |
 |
They
are still OK here, but it won't be long until Joe swims. |
 |
Meggie
and Ryder tugging on stick at Aquarius Beach. |
 |
They
had endless energy. |
 |
Meggie
is beginning to like the water in this hot weather. |
 |
She
would actually swim a few strokes out to retrieve a stick. |
