The hump backs come up here because the food is abundant.
Seagulls covering this cliff.
All space is a premium for egg laying.
That is a Puffin in right foreground.
Stellar Sea Lions are not in danger here.
They are huge. They get on these rocks when the tide is in.
Look at that boy on the left.
In Seward we stayed a Windsong Lodge which rates in my top 5 hotels for natural beauty. We walked here for dinner which was also excellent.
Scenery to die for. If I lived in Alaska, Seward may be the place I would choose.
The flowers were at their peak.
A braided glacial river flowing past the lodge.
It would have been a beautiful float trip if time allowed.
I had fresh sauteed halibut crusted with macadamias, on a bed of coconut flavored white rice.
