I liked this quilt kit which Kathy agreed to assemble for me.
Interesting architecture.
We decided to take the narrow gauge train tour up to White Horse Pass.
It was quite an engineering feat to build this.
This engine became obsolete and abandoned.
This RV Park looked a bit seedy.
A 1/2 mile tunnel.
This is a section of the original trail over White Horse Pass to get to the Klondike Gold Strike.
2000 pounds of gear per man had to be carried up this 3.6% grade about 20 miles to qualify for mining in the Canada gold fields. Some men had to make 30 trips to get their gear up the mountain.
Our guide for the trip.She was real short on actual history, but had some good jokes and was quite cute.
The girls liked this guide on the train.
Bridal Falls a beautiful series of falling water.
It was a very long train going up this 3.6% grade.

A beautiful vew looking back into Skagway.
I saw this bear for only a few seconds while coming back down the mountain. Not a great shot but it was exciting to see this Grizzly Bear.
