Crater Tyco -
Description:
Very young circular formation (100 millions of years). Very steep and tormented slopes supporting Street to the South Pictet to the East Tycho E to the North-West and Tycho B to the West. Very high walls in very important terraces. Flat floor. Central mountain 1500 M high with three main summits. Crests and hills lines. Craterlets. Furnace of the most important radiating system.

Location: Home driveway in San Diego with extreme light pollution
Conditions: 99% 14.5 day moon, seeing 5/10, transparency 6/10 with marine coming in, temperature 65 F
Telescope: TV85, prime focus, with diagonal.
Mount: Losmandy G11, Gemini goto, polar scope used to align
Guiding: None
Camera: The Image Source DMK 21AF04.AS
Focusing: Manual using IC Capture live mode on lap top
Exposures: 333 frame AVI using IC Capture, codec Y800, (0) darks, (0)flats
Processing: Registax 4.0.1.1, multi point align and stack, converted to TIF, Photoshop CS; levels, curves, unsharp mask, cropped, sized for web.
Comments:Used histogram to aid in focusing.

 
Mare Imbrium - Sea of Showers
Crater Pluto on top, clockwise Crater Cassini, Crater Aristillus, Crater Autolycus, and the large Crater in lower center Archimedes

Circular formation situated on the North bank of Mare Humorum.
Steep slopes to the North gobbled to the South in Mare Humorum and supporting the couple Gassendi A and B to the North.
Walls higher to the West and gobbled to the South in Mare Humorum.
Very large flat floor covered by Rimae Gassendi. Internal mountainous ring. Double central mountain 1200 m high. Hills
craterlets and lines of crest.

My first attempt using a webcam with the Steve Mogg adapter. I am very impressed with quality and relatively little effort to use this method of Astro Photography. I will try using my 6.3 focal reducer next time for greater FOV.

Location Culp Valley, Ca, LX200GPS 8" AL-AZ, Digi-Tadapter, Olympus C2100,F5. 1, 1/30 second , ISO100, Processed with Photo Shop 6.0, two images stacked, levels, curves, hue, and unsharp mask. I am still unhappy with the focus.
