Moon, Saturn, and Venus in Leo

Location: Bryce Canyon NP, UT.

Conditions: 5 day moon, seeing 6/10, transparency 8/10, temperature 60 F.

Telescope: none

Mount: Photographic Bogan Tripod>

Camera: Canon 300D with 18 -55 mm Canon cheap zoom lens that came with camera set at 18mm, F3.5>

Focusing: Auto on star Vega

Exposures: (6) 15 -25 sec, RAW, 1600 ISO

Processing: IP- 2.82 align-rotate, combine median, PS CS- Levels white & dark balance, Curves added blue, hue-saturation, and reduced size for web.

Comments: The close conjunction of the Moon (behind tree), Saturn (to right and lower), and Venus (to right further and lower just to the left of tree) in the parking lot near the visitor center.
